The ADDIE model of instructional design

This course is designed for teachers who work in the classrooms.
Subject Matter covered :
Knowing more about the ADDIE model of instructional design.
Target Audience :
The course is designed for all actors who work in the field of education.
Purpose/Goal :
To present the ADDIE model in a simple way and to produce teachers and developers with more information and practices about the ADDIE model who can effectively help them when instructing there courses.
Course Objectives :
By the end of the course the learner should :
1) Define the ADDIE model of instructional design and describe the characteristics of each of his phases.
2) Analyze the 5 phases of ADDIE and use the ADDIE model to create a new course.
The Main Topics :
The Main Topics include the following;
1) Introduction to instructional design.
2) Instructional design models.
3) Addie as a model of inctructional design.
4) What is Addie ?
5) The ADDIE analysis phase
6) The ADDIE design phase
7) The ADDIE development phase.
8) The ADDIE implementation phase.
9) The ADDIE evaluation phase.
Instructional Materials :
I will use text, images, audio files and videos and other online resource tools which can help me to clarify the concepts related with the ADDIE model.
Student’s activities :
Practical sessions, tests, Class activities and class discussions and assignments.
The layout of the site :
Use contrasting colors or simple backgrounds to make my text easy to read. Use background images that are simple and mostly dark or mostly light. Increase the text size and make it bold.
